Welcome Visitor! Please take a few seconds and Hey yall, the other day I was pulling a trailer with my truck, all lights working perfectly. At some point, my turn signals went out, with the hazards still kinda working. They'll randomly activate the lights permanently, and sometimes actually function as hazards.
I'm not familiar with the signal path here, so was wondering if there's a mechanical blinker component that I should be looking for, or if there's a relay. Browsing parts is getting me turned around, because some sites will have relays for my truck and others wont.
Could someone walk me through the typical signal path for the turn signals/hazards on an 86 Ranger? Just need some idea of what to look for, past that, I should be able to diagnose the issue with my multimeter.
