1986 F 150 axle swap to 1990 Ranger

I need to swap my Scissor Axle for a solid axle. I have a 1985 Ford F150. Need to know if they would bolt up to the automatic 4 liter I have in my 1990 Ranger 4x4. I don't want to mess with anything other than the modifications necessary for an axle swap

Isnt an 85 f150 still ttb front axle like your ranger?

Fixed that for you.

And no, the axle will not bolt to the automatic 4.0L in your 90 Ranger. Axles don't bolt to power train components, they bolt to the frame, so you would need to weld the axle on if you wish to attach it directly to your engine or transmission.
