New User: Ford Ranger surges between 2100 and 2700 while in cruise.
I have a 2003 Ranger 4 door, 4X4 with a 4.0 engine and a 5 speed automatic transmission. It has 102,000 milles and looks and rides like a new one. However when the cruise control is engaged the engine as indicated by the RPM and sound surges about 600 rpm, no matter what the speed is...- Foggy Man
