Ford 8.8 swap, pattern too deep but no shims left to remove
Title about says it all. Swapping a 28 spline 8.8 axle from a 2000 ranger onto my 91 ranger, in the process of regearing with used 3,55 gears. Using the old pinion bearing as a setup bearing, dremeled it out to a slip fit, and am installing the pinion with the old crush sleeve, outer bearing...- ylidk

Gear change in my 92
I have a 92 ranger 2wd 3.0 I'm trying to install 7.5 limited slip into the previously open 7.5 . The gears are being changed to 3.73 from 3.45. My current issues. The carrier is far to one side .03 shim on driver while the other side is 1/4 inch on passenger. That's as far as the pinion will let...- dcantu89
