door locks

I have a 2001 2.3l ford ranger with no key. I'm trying to save money on a locksmith and drill out the door locks so I can replace with ones bought online. Can anyone direct me to the right spot to drill to hit the springs in the cylinder?

So I was waxing the truck last night with the wife helping me. This morning I went to take some stuff to the dump and noticed that when I pull the outside door handle (with all the doors unlock at this point) the doors will lock on their own???? the same thing seems to happen with the inside...
