    Is this a 7.5 or 8.8?

    On my 1991 Ford ranger xlt extended cab, I can’t figure out what size my rear differential is. Im trying to replace the cover and gasket. The door sticker says 8.8 but it looks awfully like a 7.5. I’m stumped. Any help would be appreciated. Thank yall

    7.5, 8.8, and dana 35 ?’s

    how big of a spacer can the ford 7.5” rear end handle with a 31in tire? i would also like to know how much wider the dana 35 ttb front axle is than the 7.5” in stock forms. also someone mentioned once that the 8.8” is wider and evens this difference is this true? for now i want to even it by...

  3. 93-97 7.5RG Differential brake backing plates swap

    I have a '96 2RWD 7.5 RG 10"Brake Differential that needs to be replaced (Pinion Bearing welded - can't remove.) There appears to be a lot more 7.5 Differentials with 9" brakes than 10". My question is: Are the (7.5 RG Diffs,) 9" and 10" Brake backing plates interchangeable? (Same Brake...
