Interior door parts

I have a 98 explorer sport and the door lock rod in the driver door is bent to where it doesn't unlock properly without sticking your hand in and doing it manually. I've found it on ford parts.com but it's a discontinued part. Is there anywhere else to source all the hardware inside the door or is a junkyard the only option? Its the rod from the door handle to the latch. Tia

Not sure if this will apply, but I recently replaced a couple of power lock mechanisms on my 02 Sport Trac and the linkage rods were included with the mechanism.
