Ok I'm looking for the "cover plate" for my 2.9 anyone here know where I could find one?? If I can't get one I'll have to do the 4.0 swap.- blown150

2.9 Trans help!
I have an 86 Ranger 4x4 5 speed, and I need to know if a 5 speed trans from 4.0 would bolt up? or if that metal trans/block plate will fit off the 4.0 and work on the 2.9?- blown150
