grinds going into fourth
Just put in a rebuilt transmission in my 92 ranger. It shifts through all gears fine except when I shift into fourth it will grind a little before it goes in. I can't think of anything to fix this so I'm guessing it's internal. What do you think? M5R1 transmission.- s10350

rebuild troubles m5r1
I am rebuilding my M5R1 and I'm running into troubles. I follow the service manual assembly instructions to get the bearings and bearing plate installed on the rear of the transmission. Then when I try stand it up on end to install the bearings from the bellhousing side I can't get the input...- s10350
