I plugged my truck into the scanner and had a code 13 "cannot control rpm during Self-test low rpm check" does anyone know where to start looking i've been through all my ford books and none mention this B.T.W. its a 1987 2.9L EFI ranger

any idea where i can run wires to to correct the no tack i tested it on a buddy's truck and the tach works but i can't get it to work in my truck any ideas
