Differences in 1999 and 2002 transfer case and trans.
I have a 1999 4X4 Supercab Ranger, it has manual transmission and a shift on the fly transfer case. I have been told that I can't tow this with my motorhome unless I pull the the driveshaft on get a driveshaft disconnect. My question is what is the difference between my truck and a 2002 Ranger...- Rod

Towing a Ranger
I have a 1999 Ranger 3.0 4X4 Manual trans. I want to tow this four down, I've been told I just can't put trans in neutral and tow. I'm not sure why not. The owners manual says for two wheel drive you can put it in neutral and tow it but you can't exceed 35 mph or 50 miles. And if I haxe to pull...- Rod
