can the cam syncro cause the truck to die and then be able to refire? i hear a noise at the rear of the engine but its not a squeak its more like a ticking noise:icon_confused:- wahl_7s

3.0 miss
All right boys and girls! I'm working on my daughters ranger '01 3.0 2WD #1 cyl. is not firing, scan is ambiguous i,ve changed wires and plugsand injector.Has compression i,m stumped any help would be great. The only thing left is the coil pack, but how often do they go bad? the truck has low...- wahl_7s
