i am looking for carb settings for an old (f2, i think) ford 2 bbl carb, no. C40F-L list no. 3KE. on an 83 2.8, but came from a 64 comet 260. the numbers from the kit are totally wrong. also, how do you turn off the typing "help" in vista so you can read what you type?

on my 1998 4.0 ranger i have a loud howl that seems to come from the maf sensor. i tried it without the air cleaner, no help. tightened clamps, ditto. it seems to go away at highway speed. the noise is constant, not related to engine speed or ground speed.
