Swapping LSD to open dif- any issues with a 4WD?
I have a 1998 Ranger XLT 4.0 4WD with an 8.8 3.73 LSD. Due to a minor accident I have to replace the entire rear end assembly. I found a cheap junkyard 8.8 3.73 rear end from a 1999 ranger 4.0 FWD but it is an open differential. Would using this cause any problems other than the obvious loss...- mustang9_92002
