1990 xlt 2wd 2.9 ext cab a4ld trans i bought the truck with a manual trans. it org. had a auto in it. im in the prosses of putting the auto back in it. ok the trans is bolted back in it. now heres the problem their is about 3-5 inchs between the trans mount and the crossover is their a bracket...

i have a 90 ranger with a 2.9 im trying to put my tranny in. its a 2wd auto and the torq converter wont line up with the flywheel. i think my flywheel is from a 2.8 is the 2.8 fly different than the 2.9 flywheel tyty john also am i supposed to use the spacer in the 2.9 application a4ld -2.9

will the 4.0 trans interchange with the 2.9 engine as far as ithe bolt pattern in the bellhousing thanks
