Just the carb....

Ya'll should know better than to think I need to rebuild my 2.8! It is the carb. that needs the rebuild, the engine itself was rebuilt app. 40k ago.... Shame on you all for thinkin' such nonsense, remember, it's a 2.8!!!!!

I plan on taking it to dads shop this weekend, gotta pull the carb off & find out what it is. It's hard to figure it out when dad doesn't remember what it came off of & it has absolutely no identifying tags or #'s anywhere. It was laying around in his shop & it just happened to work with the D/spark mod we did a few years ago, we just threw it on & it worked....

Railman....I miss ya'll also brother, it won't be long, just a minor setback..

SVT....I will get up that way as soon as I can, I still gotta set ya straight on that last deal & I still have the 3.08 R & P in a box in the back ready to make the trip with me. I will figure something out so you can use the winch for mock up.

Disciple....I appreciate you wanting to deal on your 2.9.. I just need to straighten out the carb., my 2.8 is as strong as ever!!!

I should have 'er going sometime this coming week so be lookin' for me to post up as soon as I do. After that, I will be ready to do some craziness!!!!

Whew, been on my truck and Jeremy's ole brown turd for 2 days so I still got time to replace that joint for ya!
You guys keep up that honeymooning, we'll always be around! You ain't got to live with us!!

Mine's working right this time, both lockers working, axles doing their thing, transfer fine, unlike last time!
Got some work done on Jeremy's "Ole Brown Turd" see if it helps!
Vacuum advance hose not going anywhere, found a port that'll work and hooked er up!
Got rid of that abortioned rear bumper, hitch thing he had going on!
Unbolted the front sway bar and bungeed it up, see how much better that does. Honestly with them 45 1/4" long springs he's got, not sure it's going to help, but we'll see. We're looking at shackles, reversals, lift springs, SOA, weighing options, and researching/planning a good progressive stradegy before he starts dumping coin.
We're rolling from here at 7 so hopefully no one will be waiting on us again in the morning.
Projected weather- 34 degrees and cloudy!
