Over the weekend a couple wrecks came into the dealership i work at.
the one that caught everyones eye was a 98 dodge ram that looked like it hit a gaurd rail. it was obviously a total.
The tow truck driver told us to go look at the door.. so we did.

and there was some freakin leg meat hanging off it.

Some drunk dude was riding his motorcycle and went left of center and wiped into the left fender of the truck.

The biker died and the truck owner lost his truck.

Jimmy said that was one of the most disturbing wrecks he every picked up.

i can kinda relate the sight of the dodge to a bear jew beating... i guess.....
execpt this was a real person who was smeared against a truck.
there isnt much blood (it rained last night) but the meat chunk is still there.

My last day working in houston on trains I came in at 6 am, and there were dozens of police cars, some drunk prostitute walked across the tracks a couple miles before the yard, and got hit head on by a 4 engine 3/4 mile long loaded train, I had to wash reminants off, the front coupler had most of her chest stuck in it...

Years ago I was the guy who after a particularly nasty single car accident that ended a high speed chase got to go searching the wrecked, STOLEN car in the impound yard to find the missing EAR of one of the female occupants of the car....

Not a fun job, but I found it.

That's sad to hear, just because he was driving drunk doesn't mean he deserves to be dead now and mocked. You never know what kind of empty hole someone has in their life that causes them to turn towards the bottle.

No one here said he deserves to be dead. The inclusion of dead and mocked, together with drunk driving is a given. STUPID. We all know that. Yet, it still happens over and over. Had this situation been inverted where the drunk caused a fatility, most people's anger would be toward the drunk. Instead we are supposed to have pitty on him because he killed himself? No, sorry. I feel for the truck driver who without any fault, will be negatively effected by this event for years.

Well whatever it was caused them to not care about anyone else's life who is on the road either. THAT pisses me off.

Well take a good long DEEP breath of that "stink" and hold it because I completely agree with
Captain Ledd's comments on this issue.


I'll debate that it's your opinion that stinks.

That joker tried convicted and punished himself for the crime of drunk driving.


And frankly? Good riddance, he could have been driving something other than a motorcycle
and taken someone else (or several someone elses) with him.

As for his family? if they didn't know what kind of asshole he was, they know now.

And if anyone takes the slightest offense at my calling a drunk driver an asshole? too bad.


I've lost more than one friend to a drunk driver that failed to splatter themselves against a tree or
other inanimate object befor arriving at the scene of the collision.

close to 30 years ago I lost, well not "a girlfriend", we'd dated twice and I was looking forward to
our third date but it never happened.
A DWI "accident", someone elses' DWI accident that she became an unwilling participant in
prevented that from happening.



I've personally been the victim in a DWI "accident" and only lost a car I kinda liked
It could have been worse.

So if you are looking for sympathy from me don't.
If you want to cry on my shoulder for some asshole that
killed themselves DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!

If you are in an "accident" and I smell liquor and you don't want
me to call the police? You'll probably change your mind after I
kick the shit out of you.

Frankly if I were the coroner I'd write down cause of death as "suicide"

Because that's exactly what I consider driving a motorcycle while drunk
to be.

And why do I put "accident" in quotes?
Because there was nothing accidental about their choice to drink and drive.

I feel even less sympathy for hollywood celebrities who drink and drive.

Like they can't afford to hire a limo for their clubbing jaunts?

when I hear about some Hollywood bimbo getting arrested for DUI after an "accident"
while they are wearing jewelry worth more than a fleet of
limos I think they should be summarily executed.
