Will doors from a ranger fit an 86 bronco ii? I need some replacement manual doors and want to make the looking a bit easier at the junk yard or craigslist. Thanks!

Other than the differences between the Gen1 (1983-88) and Gen2 (1989-92) doors
they are the same.

the Gen2's use an armrest that's integral with the door panel and have
provisions for a door mounted speaker.

Avoid the vent window doors, people think the vent windows are an
improvement, but they aren't the vent windows on a ranger are next
to useless, they leak, they make wind noise and they rust.

Not to mention they block visibility

And you'd THINK that the front edge frame would keep the window in it's track...

you'd be wrong

rolling the windows up on vent window doors at highway speed can let the top
of the window windup outside of the track and if you don't see that it has done so
can cause the widow to break if you keep pressure on the crank...

Lastly specifically avoid the 1992 Ranger doors.

1992 only the gen2 rangers used a cable for the latch release
1989-91 use a pushrod.

the pushrod door handles are a lot more reliable...

though you might want to consider replacing the roll pin that the handle
itself pivots on with a long 10-32 machine screw.

All 1st Gen and 2nd Gen rangers and B2 doors, fenders, front lights, hoods and grilles are interchangeable...1st Gen Explorer doors, hoods and fenders are not interchangeable, but lights and grilles are, 2nd Gen explorer external parts are not interchangeable, but can be modded to fit...

well that explains why one door was cable and other was pushrod on one of my trucks. Been wondering why..
