Weird things while driving

in other words "i cannot un-see this" i laughed.

anyways: about a month ago i was fixing a trailer for my boss and i had it hooked to my truck while using a torch and a lot of force to straighten the headrack that was bent from a crash(tongue snapped off)

at that time i lived an hour away.. the road is a twisting, bumpy, hilly road. and when i was pulling off the highway i whipped around the corner at full throttle to burn the tires off a little. and BEFORE that i dropped a co-worker at his house and his road is a very very very unmaintained and treacherous county road.

i pulled into the driveway and as i was walking into the house i looked back and noticed something on the bumper- it was the striker for the torch, still there.

I've had that happen several times to me with coffee mugs. I've also lost a few the same way.

yes, its a bed rack...redneck style

When I had my 89 BII years ago, I was going to drive over a paper bag in the middle of the road one rainy night. As I got close to it, the "bag" looked up, jumped straight up and I tagged it with the ford logo on my front grill. It was the biggest freaking Barn Owl I have ever seen eating something it had killed in the middle of a busy road. Cracked the shit out of my grill. Went back to find the bird and it was nowhere to be seen, so it flew away???????

I had something like that happen to me, i was wondering wtf the shadow was in the middle of the road, and then i seen owl eyes and thump, hit my axle. opps :sorrysign:. I also have seen somebody totally go off the road, hit a fire hydrant and jump the ditch, in a focus. barely missed the telephone pole. story was she got ran off the road, but i didnt see anybody swerving in front of her... :icon_rofl:

Yes, that really is a horse drawn cart at a diesel gas pump. I'd hate to think where they planned on pumping the diesel into.

Looks like it was raining heavily right around or before this pic was shot...

If you had a topless horse drawn carriage, wouldn't you pump diesel into it's mouth so it doesn't take as long to get back home in the rain?

(Are diesel farts worse than 'beer and beans' farts?)

Come on man... That's a CHEVY guy. He's also from New Jersey... You know HE rode the short bus all through his 15 years in school. Give him a break.

Oh, my odd story today was that when I got home and got out of my truck, my cell phone fell out of my lap and onto the soaking wet ground. I got to my room when I figured it was gone (not even a minute) I thought that I dropped it. Went and looked for it for half an hour... Turns out my damn dog was loose today and it picked up my phone and took it to the other corner of the yard.... Thankfully unharmed.

Argh... I could've shot that dog tonight.

:icon_rofl::icon_rofl::icon_rofl: At least it was not an iPhone. Guaranteed damage then.

my dad and I were coming home from fishing on time and we got to a place in the road that is very close to a pound. We scared a blue haron off of the pound and it decided to live by going across the road. We hit it going 50 mph with our jeep Cherokee... surprisingly we didn't break the windshield.

Why use one of three 4x4 forklifts or a hmmwv when you can use a 5 ton 6x6 (m1083)

Great phone to me! (I just wish Alltel was still around.)

This is really cool….me and my best buddy were going to Target to get a few things for my wife's birthday last Friday around 11:00 am. On the way we come up to a nice old dark blue 66 'Stang convertible with four babes in it and as we pull up to a red light (and almost nobody around us). Well, two of the girls in the back seat start changing into bathing suits!!!!! No lie!!!!! By the time I got my cell phone out of the console and try to get at least onephoto they blew through the red light and blew kisses at us!!!! lol…I told my wife and she laughed her butt off!!!!

Topless, then into their bathing suits?

Or just taking their shirts off to reveal the bathing suit?

I'm curious about the bathing suit situation too.

But on to my weird sighting:
wind powered subaru.jpg

It's the world's first wind powered car!

Actually it's a old windmill someone stuffed into and on top of their car.

Here's a couple. I'm driving on the Ohio Turnpike west bound. Cruise control is set for 67 because the wind is really blowing. I'm in the middle lane when a station wagon passes me on the left pulling a trailer with a wooden flat bottom boat that is upside down on the trailer. I noticed it because the trailer is fish tailing back and forth. Well not to long after they passed me I see a brown object in the air up ahead. the boat had fipped up in the air and landed in the middle lane. I slowed down enough to get around the stopped traffic but didn't stop. The station wagon was already pulled to the side up ahead. On I 77 coming back from NC after Thanksgiving this women in a BMW passes us up like we were standing still. Now the road was wet and it wasn't a good Idea to be driving that fast. I see this red dot up ahead pul right across 3 lanes up on the guard rail. It looked like they were trying to turn around but she wasn't. Ended up tettering on the guard mostly in the southbound lanes. We were going northbound.
