Random Things In Your Truck Bed

my bed is usually a redbull boneyard, i also found a beer can from school..haha yeah that doesn't go well together.....the way i stash a spare key and have always done this is as i am a electrician i take a 10 in or so piece of copper wire and throw the key on the wire like on a key chain then i wrap it around the filler neck of my gas tank up under the body panel and it will never fall off and it has never failed me!!!!

i always get beer cans and shit in my truck. its usually the wanna be country girls from town that i know that think its cool to toss empty beer cans in the back of my truck. and if one more of my buddies leaves their dip cup in my backseat cupholders im gonna go to jail for castrating them....

The bed of my truck has a 2x12 going across it to keep my lunch and whatever I put in there from flying around also have empty cans in the bed mostly soda cans crushed summer time it gets beer cans tossed in there when we are at home I clean it out and take them into the recycle place

Nothing random. Just a piece of rope (doesn't everyone have that?) and the oil-change pan that I haven't taken out since going to the recycler's.

I have a tow rope. Clevis. Pin. Empty Can of Seafoam. Empty beer bottle. And loose hay from bales I carried around haha. All put in by me. I never noticed a problem with people using my truck as a garbage can. Us Canadians are just too polite haha

I always get junk thrown into my bed when i leave park in the school lot, its usually the trash from people's lunch that i find...Ill find out who does it one of these days I also leave my truck unlocked usually, i just dont put anything worth stealing in there.

Someone once put an old christmas tree base in the bed of my truck. While I was at work. On base. And it was like a month before thanksgiving.

I still haven't figured that out.

I guess they are strange down in Italy...Never had anything happen like that here in Germany though. Most I ever find is 1 or 2 cig butts that Never made it to the ground when flicked outta the window.

Thread Hijack - Ich liebe Itlainashe Volk aber die Deutsche sind mehr sauber. I was in Italy during the 9/11 attacks and people were incredibly nice. My wife and I were in Cinquaterra and the mayor of the town put postings in all of the train stations - "If you're an American and don't have a place to stay, call me at my home" It was pretty awesome. I think they still appreciate what we did for them in WWII.

LOL! Only thing I hate over here are the freaking parking garages. Need to make a 15 point turn just to pull into a parking space....and god forbid that I hit a bump in the garage...and the worst part....MY Truck isn't even lifted...........yet....

I keep a spare key in my wallet. Used to keep one in a magnetic holder, but I was never comfortable with the fact that if it was anywhere I could get to it, anyone else could get to it too.

I have no door locks or handles just a remote and a hidden button for when i lock myself out

my topper is on and locked. no issues with fokls throwing crap in there at all. will be getting a spare key and magnetic holder this weekend.

Back in high school I used to get alot of Mc dicks wrappers and soda cans and stuff. It wasn't bad just one or two usually a day. Then one day I got called to the vice principles office. Low and behold I was getting in trouble for having like a 12 pack of empty beer cans in the back of my truck and about 10 or 20 mc dicks and subway wrappers in there that that were blowing out. They thought I was drinking and driving or drinking on campus (not to mention the open bottle law, no open alcoholic beverage containers in the vehicle or it can be charged as a DUI just for them being in there).

I told them it wasn't me but they still suspended me for like 3 days, later that day like 5 of my friends had heard and talked to the VP about how I never drank, and that it was probably some jerks that dumped all the garbage in my truck. Well I got out of the suspension. and they watched my truck for the next few days and caught the real crooks and they got 2 weeks.

You make people sit in the back of your truck cab. You're cruel!!!!! I use my extended cab for storage only!!!


For the longest time I had a whack load of sawdust in the bed of my truck. It got stuck in the grooves in my plastic bedliner, then got wet, then when it got cold it froze. When I cleaned my box out this winter I had many sticks of frozen sawdust.
