Are you looking to lift or long travel your Bronco II? They are not usually the same thing. What do you want to use it for?

desertrangers.com seems to have some of the best information on the web when it comes to building a desert vehicle (in my experience). The best advice that I can give is decide what you want to do with your truck then research, research, research. Learn how to use the search button to find most of your answers. People should be fairly willing to help you with the questions that you can't find answers to through a simple search.

Desert trucks generally take a large commitment of time and money to build. If all you are looking for is a simple lift or the look of a desert truck, that is ok, just set your goals and research accordingly. There are also some very knowledgeable people on this forum. Just be open/honest about your intents and be more specific with your questions. Good Luck.

i plan on doing a little offroading but it is mainly the look im going for i have a family ... budget you know ...

There are only a couple ongoing B2 Prerunner projects that I know of, including mine.

If your mainly going for looks then you can get away with one of the many lift kits if your keeping to a tight budget. The fenders however will set you back the same amount as the lift will. Last I checked it was about $400 for the rear quarters and about $300 for the front fenders.

There are lots of things you can do budget (on the cheap) wise to the suspension to get it to perform better. Both front and back.

what kind of things ??? fenders and bedsides are going to be last
lift and tires are going to be first ... and interior then after that bedsides and fenders .. then paint job

Shackle flip, different springs front and back.

I agree that Dezertrangers.com is the place for good quality info. I go by the same screen name there.

WOW .. you did a lot of work .... i dont need that much work to be done the truck looks sick though did you ever get it painted blue yet??? also i think that is a little higher then i want the truck to be ... i want 32x11.50 15in
any suggestions i was thinking of puting the front about 1" to 3/4 of an inch higher then the back ... 3.5" mabe and 1.5 in the back because i figure that the 3.5 " in the front will go to 3in because of the waight??? any suggestion?? can use the help thank you for taking the time to help me i apreciate it if you would like tonight i will put picks up of the truck ....

Currently I'm only running 3.5" suspension lift with a 1" body lift, sitting on 35's.

With the glass fenders you could run a 33" tall tire without a lift. Anything less is going to look goofy. 32's are getting hard to find. 33's are easy to get and pretty common.

what is the hight of your front and back from the ground to the bottom of fram in the ?? i will mesure mine

just behind my front wheel from the ground to the bottom of the body it is
18" and just in front of the back wheel form the ground to the bottom of the body it is 19" what is yours?? to give me an idea

Is that 400 and 300 apiece (1400 total) or per end (700) total?

That was per end. Not per corner. So ya $700 ish not including shipping.

I'll have to measure mine. But on a quick look and guess. my rockers come to about the top of my rims. Rims are 15" and tires measure 34" (35x12.5)

34 - 15 = 19 (total sidewall)

19 / 2 = 8 Lets take 7.5" since rolling radius is alot less than nominal (bottom sidewall section)

15 (rim) + 7.5 (Bottom sidewall)= 22.5" to the rocker panel.

I'll double check this but it seems close.

let me know .... also do you have any websites where i can get my lift and stuff for my b2 >>... thanks

ok ..i will check this out .. y do you have 2 different fiberglass one for the front and one for the back ??if you had to pick one who would you pick duff or skyjacker..
