I run each OS on a separate desktop but I pulled them all together for the family picture

I actually have about 30 different ones on the Mac and they cycle through each day.

I get them from http://digitalart.org/

There are literally thousands of images there, each arranged and sortable by category. All have thumbnail previews for fast loading. I generally look in the SciFi catalogs but there is good stuff in the others as well.

HERE is a link to the Mac desktop displayed above. Just right-click and save the file or Set as desktop.

HERE is the link to the Ubuntu desktop image.

I couldn't find the link to the Windows 7 desktop image so if you want the original file, PM me.

20" Intel dual core iMac with 4GB RAM.

Windows 7 and Ubuntu 9.04 are running as virtual machines using VMWare Fusion.

It's set so that when all Operating Systems are running, Windows 7 gets 2GB memory (it's greedy), Mac OS X gets 1GB, and Ubuntu gets 1 GB.

I usually only launch 1 guest OS at a time though.

Everyone should have new desktops by now...

this picture motivates me way too much... I've been wanting another scout, but this is making me think of taking it a different direction seeing as I already got my trail truck (in the making) and a 4x4 scout, and would like a shiny dd... hmmmm...
