Which tires with these rims..Need suggestions

Hey guys. Im here to try to suprise my dad with new tires for his truck. He actually works at Ford. He drives a 2000 Ford Ranger XLT 2WD.
This is what he has now...

And I am looking for a little more aggressive tire but without any problems meaning no front end trouble. Looking for a mud and snow but not an all terrain. More or less an all season. Something for a light truck

Here are the wheels we got..

It says 15/8.5. Ive been trying to find the name and model of the rim to no luck.

im not sure about all season tire but those rims look like the older american racing wheels

It's a Pacer rim, the center cap says so in the 2nd picture.

Yes but I cant find the exact model of the rim. Just trying to see what will fit best on this rim to fill it out.

I'd look into the BFG Long Trail. I don't know how they perform, but they seem to be a popular factory tire. I have always like the BFG Radial T/A with raised white letters too.

I might have to jump on this. This will be a suprise for him. I just want to make sure this is a good decision.
What about tire size? 235?

Do you want to stay stock. The stock tire size is in the first picture, 225/70R15. The next common size is 235/75R15.

Yes I do. My dad is 54. He jsut wants a tad bigger and alil more aggressive. i figured 235/75 is good plus its a common size. Then just to figure out what tire is my best bet

If you go to www.tirerack.com, they have a lot of reviews on tires and the also show you what they look like on your model vehicle.

The Radial T/A's are good tires. A lot of the guys I go to car shows with run them on their muscle cars. I think it would look better with a slightly larger tire like the 235/75 mentioned. As for the rim, did you try lookings on eBay or summit? I've seen them before but I couldn't tell you what model they are.

Finally got them in.
BFGoodrich 235/75 R15

He loved them. Here is a pic with his new rims and the tires I got him. Ill get a picture tonight of them all together. Thanks again.
