alt. swap

ive got an alt from a 93 to put in my 91 with the wiring harness. i was just wondering where everything plugs into? anyone done this before?

The "Truck" end of the harness is exactly the same.

It's the "alternator" end of that short harness is different.

Take your old alternator harness off and replace it with the "new"
one.

There's a ring terminal that goes to the starter solenoid
(the one on the inner fender)
and the "white connector" (by the inboard rear corner of the battery tray)
connects together...

It ain't rocket surgery...

i didnt think it was but just wanted to get an idea befoore i went out and started. its supposed to be raining in about a 1/2 hour and didnt want to mess with it in the rain. i appreciate your help!

so here what im looking at,the alt and the truck side i have figured out.

but your telling me that these two conectors are just a plug and play thing?
