could some one tell me if a 2 piece driveshaft out of a gen3 ranger 5spd 4x4 is the same as a 2 piece drivesaft out of a gen2 ranger 5spd 4x4?

If both trucks have the 8.8 axle they should be the same. If need be you can get a conversion u-joint or a different at the axle.

skip the 2 piece and get a 1 piece out of a newer ranger.
