A bunch of guys went out today to have some fun. As you can see in the pics, this is why I want a 3" lift and snorkel.

This guy is on 44s I think with a huge amount of lift. Some of the holes will make him glad he has a snorrkel up to his roof inside.

Thankfully the silver 2wd Ranger didn't try to follow. He wouldn't have made it past the first hole and he had no tow points but at least he was out having fun on some easier trails.

Another pic of the reason for a snorkel in south florida. This guy is on 35s with 8" lift.

It looks even more clean after taking a bath out there. :)

Thats some deep water, you should probly check and make sure there is no water in the diffs.

I have extended the breather tubes on all but the tranny. That will come when I get the lift and can get my hands in there to put it on. Right now being stock height I can't get my hands in there. Also, in most places there is a litttle bit shallower pass throughs but sometimes you just got to bite the bullet.

Forget "GOT MUD" its "GOT WATER".
Looks like a fun day.

unfortunately this is one of the only areas to wheel down here and water gets old because of all the maintenance. A few years ago it was no where near this deep and you could go most places stock. Not now though.

Sounds good but I can tell you that most of the guys I wheel with are not quick to help out 2wds out there since they should know better. 2wd vehicles waste up a big part of the day constantly pulling them out or over an obstacle. We are out there to wheel not winch. :icon_hornsup:

Well forget you then.

Wouldn't waste my time driving there.

A 2wd driven right can get through more stuff than some open diff 4x4s. It's all about driving skill in conjunction with what you have to work with. I've seen Katie go through more junk in 2wd than most would expect.

from my experience in the past with my 2wd trucks, ive gone threw stuff ive seen 4x4 get stuck in and i have mad atleast 1 guy in the 4wd version of my f150 mad because i was following him.

offroading is a skill, just like racing, about 70% driver 30% truck, just gotta choose you speed and line a little differently
