What did you do to your Ranger today? (Part Deux!)

For the most part I have all those tools located and in known locations now but I don't often look at my rigs with drum brakes... The F350 needs them adjusted though since I don't use reverse much I think the self adjusters haven't ratcheted in a while... I do have some nifty versions I've found used that I always find after I need them, has a pin where you just rotate around the pin to get the spring on instead of using the ramp thing...

Truck passed inspection after the manual swap today. No CEL after the software stuff I did.

I was surprised they did not make a comment about the truck having a manual and automatic shifter....

I'm happy. Just need to clean up some of the wiring and it'll good to go. Once I get everything cleaned up and finalized I'll make a post with the details.

PA government workers aren’t allowed to comment on things that go both ways anymore….

No you don’t understand, we are much more corrupt then NJ.

Vehicle inspections is privatized in PA.

The inspection stations have to pay the state for a license (to extort you), then the state makes it a legal requirement to go get extorted once a year ( or they your drivers license), then the inspection station tells you that your ball joints are bad but don’t worry we’ll replace them for you ( for reasonable price of $1200).

and don’t worry, they don’t properly extort you, they will loose their extortion license…. I mean inspection license, if they don’t properly inspect you.

All joking aside. 99% of the time I don’t mind the inspections. Keeps me from letting the maintenance go for too long when I know someone is going to be checking on it.

Sounds like it would make a nice race car.
It looked clean. Will go look tomorrow and report back.

It's red tho.

Red.

😐

I agree on the red, not my favorite either, on my '97 it's at least the darker burgundy or whatever, for $450 for a good runner I couldn't complain... I've put 110k on it with little fuss so I cant give it too much grief...

Driving past it, it looked identical to @sgtsandman s truck.

You know.

Red.

Red, red, red.
Red is the best.
Red, red, red.
To hell with the rest!

PS, I don't think I've owned a red ranger. But my first 2 cars were red, 68 Galaxy 500 and 68 Torino.

Y’all are misguided. Let me set you straight.

RED RULES ! ! !
