I was just looking at craigslist and came across this Gen-I Ford Ranger with a grill / brush guard on it. Looks homemade, but I'm digging it because it's so unique looking.

What do you think?

I like it alot more then most the other styles.

My favorite style will always be the cop/general lee push bars though.

Would fit right in... while in Texas

I like the whole setup.

That truck's gotta V18 in it, you should get it

Well... seems there are a lot of those in Texas.

It's a "to each their own" thing really. I'm personally not a fan. I will say too that a bunch of them are "decorative" and wouldn't do much protecting if truly called upon.

I have also seen a couple different models literally vibrate themselves into destruction.

I really don't see many around here.

Is that you behind the wheel? You look pretty young in there. I haven’t seen a lot of pictures of TRS1.
Yep.

Pat Campbell AKA Sparkz is riding shotgun. This is on his land down in Kentucky.

If it is homemade, it is a nice job from what I can see.

+1

Pretty heavy handed with the "function over form" but I could see them being factory made back in the day.

isn't that how all the brush guards used to be back in the day? its not a homemade one though, its curved to fit the shape of the bumper

I like the storage spot for the jack.
