Thinking of getting a new Ranger

No clue who Paul is either.

Having brand new vehicle or even a yr old vehicle with low miles always makes a new owner happy.

The problem is the payment each month. LOL
I planned on getting a new truck a year later than I did bu my old Sport Trac blew a head gasket at 212,000 miles. Truck looked like new in and out though. I was looking at around $3000 since the engine has to come out, i would have had to put it on plastic, and to pay it off in a year would have cost about the same as a new truck payment. I had already spent $5000 combined on the last two state inspections, its time that expensive things were wearing out, and I’d have $8000 in a 13 year old truck with over 200,000 miles. Didn’t make economic sense to keep it.

You guys should go ask Sister Mary Elephant...

Gen X grew up with Cheech & Chong as well. At least the older ones.

Millennials are down with cheech and Chong, at least the cool ones.

whatever the next generation is though.. nope. Neither of my two cousins knew who they are, they were born around 2000.

Paul got robbed to pay Peter.
Branden is a lazy dude that people have been waiting for, for a while now.
Cheech don't even smoke, not sure if he ever did.
Chong is mad at Cheech for moving on.
I grew up in the 90's and by then Cheech&Chong were relics, so it's not surprising at all that todays' teens have their own idea of what "funny" is.
Harold & Kumar go to White Castle is today's version of a "C&C" movie. Even Half Baked is a "stoner classic" to todays youth.

I quote Half Baked often, especially at work. "I dont have to take this, I'm somebody's bitch!" -Kenny

There's a few new Rangers at work. I like parking my old ranger next to them. The owners seem happy with them. One friend has had his awhile now and I think only had one problem that warranty fixed. I forget what exactly, but do remember it was something simple yet complicated, and the truck was at the dealer for a few days. I think that's the biggest caveat with newer trucks/vehicles in general. Not much can be diagnosed/repaired by the shadetree home mechanic.
