Automotive technology you miss.

Radios with switches that turn them off so they won’t come on automatically, nor stay on until you open the door. Are people really so afraid to be alone with their own thoughts for a moment that they must have something to block them at all times?

Yes. Must drown out the voices...

Waiting on you old man.
Old man? 'Fraid not. I'm probably in the middle of the age group on here. I know there's some youngin's on here and some ol' timers too... I am neither of those groups haha. Also not driving to PA just to beat a 2.9... I'd ask you to come here but I donno if a 2.9 can make it out of city limits anymore lol JK. Just had to. Go ahead, add me to the "list" I wont mind. I think you list would be easier to write down whoever is NOT on the list. Besides, I got too much on my plate like prepping for winter (cutting firewood), fixing the other two cars my wife has, kids that are in too much extra curricular activities and don't forget about a full time job.

I miss the rear view mirror that I could adjust with the flip of a flipper. These so called automatic adjusters don't work.
I also miss manual roll up windows and manual door locks. The heck with all these switches that go bad.
Bring back a good ole simple, small pickup like my '91 bare bone Ranger, with a strong V6, stick shift and A/C. Make mine single cab, shortbed.

Ha! My 2.9 has seen every bit of 4-5 hour drives. I'll gladly come to Ohio any time to put a 3.Slow in its place! ?

Oh. And I can guarantee you're 'old man' to me.

I suppose 4-5hrs to go from Pittsburgh to Ohio with a 2.9 is about right....... ;missingteeth;

I've driven a 2.9 (yes, with an automatic, but still!). I'll wager that an Amish horse and buggy could beat your 2.9.

I just want to see a little less plastic, well a lot less plastic.
The paper straws are fine if you are half retarded and eat paper anyway.

I miss medium size to full size, full frame cars with 4 doors a v8 and a manual transmission, Rwd. The last company that did something similar was the chevy SS 6.0, manual, Rwd 4door. I hate chevy cars and trucks so I cant count that one. So ill call it the Vauxhall vxr8.
