4.0 retrofitted with a distributor?

If it sprays on the intake stroke it's just a normal injector.... if it sprays on the compression stroke it would flood the engine.... if it sprays on the power stroke it would do god knows what.... if it sprays on the exhaust stroke it's dumping fuel out the tail pipe.

So when is the the batch fire injector spraying that isnt going to be dumping fuel out of the exhaust?

Batch firing plugs... yes. But injectors?

batch firing plugs is the same as injectors


there is still less fuel on most of the valves then with a typical carb setup. flow path pulsing vs atomization is still superior...untill the injectors get janky.... its really rough if you double shot them on high power applications. that is where sefi cleans things up.

I found 103.7 Buckeye Country out of Toledo on our trip, I have been streaming it since we got back.

A lot of old sprinkled with a little new, I really like it.

The local "classic country" station plays the same 15 songs over and over.

That used to be the rooster. Played your normal top 40 country, ill have to check it out.

Well I've found a ranger that needs little work for $500. It has a spare 4.0 on the bed. If I end up buying it, I may go grab a distributor from the pick n pull to see if I can get it to fit, just for scientific research purposes.
If that works out, there's another ranger that I might be able to get for another $500 and I will put the spare 4.0 in that to see if I can get it to work. Then I will sell which ever one i don't like.

I got an old 2.9 distributor that prolly isnt much good for anything else besides research.
