what kind of int parts and lemme see the mirrors!

Yes it's s Lincoln Versalies rear end. I have the gears and carrier for it too I just forgot about it. I'll be keeping the 3rd member case to replace the one I broke last year:/

ok. is it a big bearing? and if it can be reached easily get a measurement for me. but dont go digging through storage for it lol. thanks man. are you still just outside fresno?

I'll check the bearing size and flange width today. I believe it's 2" narrower than a stock bronco or f150 9".
Yes I'm still east of Fresno.

Been doing a lot of school and school related stuff. 16 units, 12 of which are upper division core classes, TA-ing a class, and trying to build a mini baja car for an SAE design competition.

been spending like 20-30 hours a week just on welding shit for this

never tested one of my welds before now, so that was kind of cool

anyone know someone looking for a 4x4 zf5 speed with t case? my dad was going to put it in his bronco but now he is going a different route.

I did want one previously, but idk if I can justify it anymore...
Ben, how much you selling your headlights for?
I really want to ditch my headlights and taillights cause I hate the 93 ones

This is exactly what I've been searching for... a Nor Cal specific forum! I'm new here. Picked up my second Bronco II 2 weeks ago. (first was way back in High School, 20+ years ago)

It's a 1986 2.9:

I need some help both on here and in person most likely (not immediately, I'm still in the planning and saving cheddar stage). I'm almost positive I want to go with some full width axles. I *thought* I wanted to do a SAS on it, but after reading more, I believe a better solution for my needs would be a full width TTS, so how easy would it be to swap for instance the axles out of a 1986 F150/Bronco? Lots of fabrication, or would it be more or less a simple bolt on?

Welcome to the circus. Where are you from? As for your question: Its would be just as easy as a SAS. Shouldn't be to much fab work. But always turns out to me more then expected.

I'm between Sacramento and Stockton. I always associate myself with Sacramento though...

they are the newer style, like 2001 and up. different than ours, Idk if they will work...

welcome 5 flat, I would go solid axle for the sake of reliability and the plethora of info on the swap. less stuff to go wrong. plus to get a ttb to perform well it takes a looooooot of cheddar.

The more I read, it appears the TTB from a full size would be more work than a SAS as well. Screw it, I'm just gonna run this Dana 28 till she breaks and decide then. LOL My lift kit should be arriving tomorrow (I hope... if it arrives monday I'll be sad)

If you go leaf sas they're super simple. Coils sas takes a little more measuring depending on what setup you decide to go with. I went with a 79 f-150 axel and suspension swap. It took me a week working on it 2-4 hours a day. That was buying gears, setting them up, rebuilding the axels and then pulling the stock suspension out of my truck and installing it. If you get your axels ready, then get all the nuts and bolts you think you'll need I don't see why a competent person couldn't have it done in a weekend except for drive shafts. If you have a local drive shaft place that works weekends then 2 days is absolutely doable.

Hey kevery are you going to go to the poker run by shaver this year? I'm trying to get my rig finished for it. It'll be next month on memorial weekend I believe.
