TRS Spring Roundup - Event Coverage Thread

I got home just before the storm. I parked the truck in the drive. Right before I shut the truck off they said we might get hail tonight. So then I pulled the dually into the garage and left the trailer attached. It actually is still sitting like this LOL

classy. lol

My Pics

Fueling up. There is where I asked the 1st Gen Rubicon on street tires if he wanted to follow me. He said no :(

The Wooster/Akron Convoy Rolling in

Snapped a pic while trying to locate a new brake booster.

The black, 7.3L PSD, manual trans, crew cab duallies :headbang:

Jim getting it done
It was really cool to see watch this TTB in action.

Some trail shots when we were wheelin the edge of Lower Rim

This strip of rocks used to be a mud bog. I like the new changes!

It got real knarly in the middle.

Onebadexplorer would have had a blast in this section

Speaking of... he loaded up and headed up due to the clutch issue shown above.

It was awesome to watch more stock trucks plan on the concrete humps and obstacles.

The rig

I got a little heavy on the skinny towards the end of the day. Jumped one of the hills and landed on a rock which bent my wheel. I was able to hammer it back into shape, air up and keep on wheelin after that. Steel wheels FTW!

I had a GREAT TIME. I have 16 gigs or so of GoPro I still need to get through and edit. I will post those towards the end of the week. Those are time consuming lol.

Wish i could of brought my truck but it was fun meeting up and running down some trails in 2000project's truck

Sucks that I missed the trip.

I got to talk to the guy who built that Sammy at the KOH Rausche creek qualifiers this year. The team also has a badass U4 rig they race.

If thats the same guy, that green buggy is from buffalo,NY and he competed in the top truck challange that petersons 4wheel puts on.

We got home right around midnight. I couldnt do much over 60mph with the bent rear shaft.lol

How did you bend the rear shaft??

Still waiting for the other group to post up pics.

Probably in one of the 3 rock gardens. Im assuming the long narrow strip that I bashed both diffs, my steering, sliders, and my front shaft on.lol

It definitely has one determined 2.9 in it. He'd be dangerous with a 5.0.
