4r55e dead?

Hey all you tranny guru's....Question is my 4r55e tranny dead ?

1) On my way to work O/D light started flashing

2) After work started truck no reverse for a couple seconds then went in but definetly slipping, checked fluid, added a quart, slipped at start-up, then would lock up and drive OK. Still struggled to reverse

3) Dropped pan, fluid did not seem to smell "Burnt" some metal in pan but not alarming, installed new filter and "V" fluid and qt of Lucas stop slip

Now it does not even move in any gear....IS SHE DONE FOR ????

I'd find out what the code is. Could be something stupid.

That sounds like the classic, valve body seperator plate gasket failure issue. There is a link on here I think in the tech section about that and how to fix it.
