I have a 99 ranger xlt 4x4 auto 3.0. The button for the overdrive quit working so I got one off a wrecked truck pulled the old one and the wires were broken, replaced it and check to see if there was power to the switch and there is. Problem is when I punch the switch or button on the end of the gear shift the OD light will not come on. As I stated there is power to the switch I am at a loss as to what it could be. While I had the dash pulled apart I replaced all the bulbs in the dash and all the connectins are tight, any suggestions or ideas would be appreaciated.
