Hi there, I switched to a electric fan on my 84 Ranger. When I had the freon changed to R 134a the tech said that I need to have the fan run when the AC kicks on. Just would like to know what the best way of doing this, I could come off the clutch circuit with a relay, but the fan does not need to run when going down the road. Any suggestions???

The fan DOES need to run when the compressor is running; it doesn't matter if you're driving down the road or not. Just wire it to the clutch circuit like you said.

Thanks for the input, looks like that is what I'll do!!

What does this subject have to do with transmissions?
