Fuel Pump Question

Can anyone tell me if the fuel pump is supposed to kick off after about 5 seconds when you turn the ignition- If so- what would cause it not too?

once it primes it should kick off idk what would make it not kick it off

A sticking fuel pump relay would probably be the most likely cause. Find the relay and swap it with another one from the fuse box to see if the problem goes away.

Not the relay

Changed both relays- pump still stays on once key is turned-

Fuel pump issues

Thanks for the schematic should prove very useful- Im thinkin its a fuel pressure problem, The tank is leaking from the top so I am gonna drop it this weekend and fix and also change the fuel filter- If it is not pressurizing the line the pump may not kick off-
