Hey whats going on everyone?
My dad and I just picked up a 87 Reg cab, long bed, Ranger.
Since I have been drag racing my mustang and he has been watching and turning wrenches on it, he decided he wanted to build a race truck. Since we bleed Ford blue we went out and found this ranger.
I have been doing some looking around on this site, and online trying to gather all the info that I can.
Our plans are to build a 347, C4 trans, and do a 8.8 rear.
I have been looking at info online about swapping in a explorer rear and so far that is what we plan to do.
I'll try and snap some pics of the truck and post them up. If anyone has any useful links please post them up.
