Shame he did the "convertible" , it looks good on that color, and deff fast with that engine

If you start with TWO cabs creating a removeable hard top isn't "rocket surgery"

But I'd like to know why he went to all that work for a 4.6SOHC when he's already
done most of the work to have swapped in a 4.6DOHC engine.

Especially since the Mark8 Lincolns earlier than '95 were actually EEC4 managed
making the wiring and control easier to accomplish.

Ummm does anybody else realize that a 1999 CV is not a PI motor. They upgraded to PIs in 2001, unlike the Mustangs that did so in 1999.

Police Interceptor.

Its a CVPI or P71.

Crown Vic Police Interceptor. You are right about the PI heads not coming out until later.

P71 is the code in the vin #, the best way to know for sure its a CVPI.

Great way to confuse people.....thanks Ford.

Only problem I see with that engine he put in is the fact that its the old style intake manifold with the plastic coolant crossover. I had one replace on my 1996 GT from ford under their "recall" but then it busted again and I found a 96 CV with the dorman upgraded part for 40 bucks. Easy fix but that part can be pretty costly when it does break. Even the dormans run 250 new.
