it needs welded and body work done but it will be alot cheaper the 500 buck for a real cowl hood :icon_welder:

How high is the cowl? and i really like the look of that. I wanted to that to mine but i havent ever seen a gen1 with one. But now that I have whatd you use?

It is a 3 " cowl i went 1 foot on each side of the middle of the hood and just used a cut off wheel to cut it it help to use a straight edge to get it right good luck it not to hard :icon_thumby:
 
see, i thought about making a cowl that way... but i'm to lazy and got to much other stuff going on lol.

you waiting to see how long it takes to rip the front mounts out and roll the cab off the frame??

no im waiting for my buddy to get time to weld them up for me i cant weld for shit and dont have money to pay to get it done this is the first time i really got to flex it
 
that really is hard on the box outs....i would be surprised if you have not cracked the forward mount structures.

mine are all busted to hell and boogered back together numerous times...that resulted from actually snapping the bed bolts and rear cab bolts.
 
bah thats the just the easy wasy to install a body lift! no jack required
