New to Rangers got some questions...


Its getting an oem clutch today. Thats all there is to it. It doesn't sound hard at all and makes a ton of sense to me. I just happen to have an oem clutch sitting in the shop and need the truck tomorrow so that'll do.
 
Well, if you already have it, use it. I thought you had to buy the parts.
 
Tranny out...old clutch assembly out...and new in...tranny back in all done in 2 hours. Left the exhaust in and the t-case on her the only thing I had to do was flatten the body seem above the bell housing. It is a completely different truck now. Clutch is a lil grabby but should mellow out after a bit. The old clutch disk wasn't bad look almost new but the old pressure plate was shot. Before you'd have to rev up to 2500 to get it to move in 1st...now just barely let of the clutch and away ya go.
