5 Bizarre Pitfalls of Owning a Classic Car

No, I don't relate at all. The person who wrote this article is the type of person who shouldn't own anything without a warranty, and it wasn't even remotely funny. To me anyways.

cracked.com articles are hit and miss. Some are hilarious, some are not even worthy of a cracked smile.

This guy seems to murder a lot of people over old cars.

Battlescar, when are you gonna come help me put my truck back together?

I've had this I cut out of a magazine years ago that makes more sense, been on the refrig so long it's turned yellow.
"Im not really a collector, I just buy cars and register them because I like them. I put them on the road, and I guess that somewhere along the line what I have cecomes a collection" Jay Leno

I was in tears of laughter when I read this article, because I've been on both sides of his point of view. You can't really take most of it seriously, but #1 on the list was pretty damn close, as far as I go at least.

i find it fitting.

Boy, I have an old 413 in the garage (all kinds of parts to build it up) but knowing the problems never considered it, same goes for that 428 Ford next to it. Duster the tank guy gets it. Anyone ever thought about a flathead in a Ranger? Pop the hood and see something like that with a tri-power set-up, people would have to say, WTH.

There was a guy at last years car show that had a flathead V8 in the correctly aged car. I didn't pay attention to what he had for an exhaust... but when he fired it up to leave I declared it the best sounding vehicle I had ever heard. :headbang:

They just have a sound all of their own... and I like it.

i want to put a ford big block in a '69 camaro so i can piss everyone off.

other than that, the article really didn't make sense to me

I didn't even bother thinking about it. it would be awesome when it ran but it would suck to make fit in the bay.
