Angry 94 2.3 cooling help

ok so my cooling gauge used to sit right smack dab in the middle. Down the road i replaced the water pump and did a cooling flush and no problems. Recently i had to put a radiator in cuz the oem one finally went. now the temp gauge sits on the low side, right on the normal line. It just stays right there and goes down beyond the normal line sometimes (guessing when the thermostat opens or fan kicks on). So i Replaced the thermostate. I put the hole towards the top no air in the system and rewarded with amazing heat but still the same problem. I noticed my fan was always on so i replaced the clutch so it funtions properly today. still same problem. Now is my temp sensor just crap and needs to be replaced or am i missing somthing. new radiator, new water pump, new thermostat, coolant level is good heat is good cooling fan operates as it should its just that damn gauge just sits on that line and drops outta normal. i want to make sure im getting up to operating temp and not burning alot of gas.

any help be great

check the wiring connection if it has a temp sender.

get a multimeter and test that temp sensor.... could be bad sensor, or a bad connection as the PP stated.

i agree with ranger danger. check that temp sensor.

first thing i was taught in school was the wiggle test. check for loose connections. visually inspect the connectors and the wires. good luck man.

oh its at the "N".... well then thats NORMAL ahhaha

my 92 4.0 runs around the same area when its all warmed up. It used to run hotter and flucuate... but then a put a new thermostat in it. Still gets good head.

I think everything is normal.

Originally i thought you were saying its sitting around the "C"... which would be too low..
