Jus bought a DANA44 for the front, no IFS crap! ALso my 3.0 is blown so engine swap! possible 3.0 replacement, or a 4.0 or 5.0 swap

Spent the day looking for leather bucket seats...found some for $150 outa a Explorer, debating on if i should wait till after the holidays though...lol
 
U musta really wanted a chrome diff cover lol. Looks good so far
 
Looks nice, but you took off your factory cold air in take,and put on a hot air intake.

An yah....leather seats on a SAS, I dont wheel too rough anymore, so im learning i can bring quality comfort to my bumbum lmao... Im avoiding those puddles that allow fish to swim into the cab

Thnx for the comments so far..Ima do alotta pics when I tackle the SAS and engine swap...and hopefully it goes well!
 
okay....so ill be tackeling the engine swap and SAS at the same time...
My question:::

What year 5.0 from a Explorer should i be looking for? and a Mustang?

I'm not hatting on it, I typed Nice truck, but I see alot of people all the time say they have a cold air intake, when they put on a K&N filter, BUT they don't put the shroud box around the filter, and what it does is suck HOT air from around the engine.

I have a Friend in Bain Berry, that put one on his little hot hatch and wanted me to see it, I told him that was a nice piece but it's now a Hot air intake, it was also placed right above the exhaust manifold.


Also look for a early 2000 Explorer with the 5.0, for the engine swap, or at least I would.....but it might be a 4.6 or something.
