Search function doesn't seem to be working.....so I am beginning to do my v8 conversion and just trying to nail down the specifics before I begin, so my question is will the B&M Z-gate shifter work with my application even though I have a 3" body lift? I know nothing about this type of shifter and didn't know if it would work because I know where I can get one dirt cheap...thoughts???
Btw, I will be using a c-4 trans.....

Thanks....I didn't know how that shifter hooked up to the trans. and if a body lift would affect that.......

All of B&M's shifters are cable style, so a body lift won't effect them.

^^^thanks.....that's what I wanted to hear......

The cable type shifters such as a B&M are the way to go. They are simple easy to hook up, can mount about anywhere as long as the cable reaches and no linkages to figure up. You'll be fine.

^^^I was waiting for you to chime in.......thanks.......I'll be starting my project in the next few weeks....I'll put some pictures up in the construction forum when I begin....it's going to be a v8 conversion of the truck in my avatar, I've been talking about it for years, now I'm going to do it.....

When I had a C4 in the truck I used a B&M Pro Stick. I miss that shifter. Enjoy your swap, they can be a pain but they can be some fun too.
