Is it possible to get aftermarket manual locking hubs for a 2007 ranger?

Exactly. I want to be able to disengage them to prevent wear to the front end and save some gas.No. Why you ask? Because you have a live axle setup. Basically the front axles are spinning regardless of whether you are locked in 4x4 or not.
Good one! I lol'd at this analogy...Frankly I think swapping 1998-00 Pulse Vacuum Hub knuckles onto a later truck to be able to unlock the hubs is like getting a sex change with implants so you can fondle some tits.
What you'd give up doesn't nearly make up for what you'd get.
And in the end "F**k me!" would aquire an entirely new meaning.

AllanD, you have some of the most screwed up analogies ever, but for some reason they make sense in my demented little headFrankly I think swapping 1998-00 Pulse Vacuum Hub knuckles onto a later truck to be able to unlock the hubs is like getting a sex change with implants so you can fondle some tits.
