Hello all, I can't find a thread about this anywhere. I would like to remove my windshield wiper arms all the way down to the base, one of them has the black paint faded into the metal. I figure it would be an easy paint job once they are off but I can't figure out how to get these babies off!

I see some sort of clip but I can't figure it out.

Pull the arm up like you would to wash the windshield or change the blade. While its up use a small screwdriver or a pick to to pull the clip out (they get stuck so fingers may not work well) once the clip is out you can let the arm down and rest against it. Then just wiggle it off.
