Default magnetnerd's DANGER RANGER build

I've been a member here for a loooong time, but rarely posted. I don't know why. Not much of a talker in real life or online, I guess.

Anyway, I've had my Ranger since I turned 16, and it looked like this:

I'm 24 now. When I was about 21, I started doing some small mods to my truck. I got some rims off a newer ranger and upsized the tires to P235/70R16 (approx 29").

The same day I did that, my truck got hit while she was parked. Naturally, it was a hit and run.

After getting that repaired, I decided to paint the grill and trim

To be continued...

A couple months after I got the damage repaired on the driver's side, I was involved in another accident that smashed up the passenger side pretty good. At that point, I decided to give up on modding the truck and just drive her until she died.

Well, a few years later, she's still going strong, and I just happened across ForOffRoadDriving's thread on here. That thread inspired me to start doing some mods again in the coming months after I get my motorcycle back on the road.

Here's how she sits today.

List of mods that I need to do:

-Replace fuel tank neck
-Install leveling kit that I already have
-Get new tires (probably wheels too)
-Pull dents out or replace bed/door
-Herculiner bed and sides of truck (see ForOffRoadDriving's truck...)
-Build front bumper
-Replace headliner

I got kinda excited so I linked a few of my buddies to this thread. One of them emailed me back:
Quote:
nice pics dude
i already see a problem with you wanting to repair the ranger
1) you will get started on small mods.
2) then it will be a bigger mod but you say that it will be the last thing you will do.
3) i will come over to your house and your truck will be in a thousand pieces and some will even be hanging from the rafters.

moral of the story.... there are no so called minor mods if you are involved.
Why would he say this? Oh, I dunno. Probably my motorcycle project that started out as a simple repair. (NSFW. Well, it might be, but there could be pics of scantly clad women. Never know on that site):

My buddy and I put my "frollbar" on last night. I picked it up on CL for $40

Also, he pulled the majority of the dent out of my bed.

Before:

It's not obvious from this pic but the light didn't sit flush with the side of the bed here.

After:

Now it does sit flush.
