Cargo Cover question

I finally found a willow green cargo cover to match my truck today. The truck I took it out of already had a bunch of stuff missing out of it, so it was pretty easy to get out. Looking at putting it into mine though looks like it's going to be a big PITA. Is there an easy way to move the interior pieces (where the speakers go) to gain access to where it screws in?

There's no real easy way. You have to either completely remove those large pieces, or at least remove every fastener and sort of push them out of the way. You'll need a torx bit to unbolt the shoulder pivot for the seatbelt. I think its a T50 IIRC.

I see what you mean! I'm going to have to do it this weekend when I have a little more time on my hands. I don't want to rush and break something. Thanks for the help!
 
Man, I'm surprised that you can still find those things! I'd love to find a tan one for my 96 B2300. Actually I've never seen one in person. But with all the electronic and computer equipment I seem to haul around with me all the time, it would be an added security feature. Not to mention the bragging rights I'd earn when I could stand up and say "I've got one of those cargo cover thingys"!

This is the first one I'd seen in person too. It looks like it was never used.

This truck I found at the tear-a-part has been a great find. I got my bed molding from it, the newer speaker grilles, and the cargo cover. The particular yard it's at charges more than others, but it's all good. I got all of that for 25 bucks (would have been about 10 at my regular stop).

And yeah, I'll take some pics and post them...
 
It's in! I found that I should have taken the bracket that was in the back of the parts truck, but I made my own mount for it. Mine's metal and the stock is plastic, so mines better anyway =). Anyway, as promised here are some pics. Please forgive my non-vacuumed truck.
