to our fallen brothers & sisters every were
you may be gone but you will never be forgotten

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.' That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

i don't remember who said this but it has always been one of my favorite quotes. it does strike a cord as there are people in this world that do not realize that people have made the ultimate sacrifice for the way they live.

rest easy andrew

A moment of silence. My flag flies for them today.

thoughts and prayers are with his family. medics share a common bond... saving lives. they do whatever it takes, over and over again. once you're a medic, you're always a medic. you never forget being called "doc" and the special position you had in your unit. when another medic, no matter how old they may be, hears this kind of sad news, the pain is especially deep.

They go forward to defend our freedoms and pay the ultimate sacrifice for it. I willing proudly say thank you for everything you did.

RIP Fellow Canadians. Another reminder that freedom is never free

RIP my prayers go out to his fam and to all the others who have lost there lives fighting for our world freedom

Rest now--Know that your memory will live on in the hearts and minds of all of us. Freedom isn't free---sometimes there is a very high cost to it--and all to often people take these great men and women for granted, or fail to show them proper respect.

I spend a lot of time working in my store. (retail manager) I make it a point to personally meet and greet anyone in uniform that happens to stop in. The one thing I always say? "Thank you for your service".
